HTC HD2 – Windows Mobile Phone [Gadget Review]

I was pleasantly surprised when I first time saw HTC HD2. Upon initial inspection its cinematic display actually surpassed everything. A closer scrutiny however revealed that the device featured the best one, so far available in market.

From how it looks and feels to how the phone does everything you want it to do in a simple and natural way. HTC HD 2 pushes the limit of what we have come to except from our phones. A 400×800, 4.3 inch touch capacitive screen mobile device with 65k LCD colors offers technology like Sense UI,

The beautiful aspect is that the technology centers on communication and people rather than application; resultantly e-mail, SMS, Facebook and even call logs are juxtaposed at one place.

Some design features of HTC HD2 are far better experienced than can be explained in mere words. Like “Pick to mute” feature. The ringer volume level immediately scales down when the phone detects that you have picked it up, or the display that automatically adjusts to the light level in your surroundings and turns off to prevent false screen touches during a call.

HTC HD2 is built for pure finger touch control. Zoom in and out of documents, web pages, pictures or emails with just a simple pinch. It Types up responses faster and more accurately on the large onscreen keyboard. HTC HD2 has an outdated Windows Mobile 6.5. Once Windows Mobile 7 is released this fall all of these phones will become obsolete as they cannot be upgraded to WinMo 7.
These WinMo phones are a really good waste of money. Wait till WinMo 7 and then buy them. Or if you really need one now go for any HTC model with Android.

Anyways, one thing i want it to appreciate about these reviews are in very detail and comprehensive.

can i suggest some of phones to have review of them as well?

I am already having it…n ths really a compact device to have and use..very friendly….so far win mo 7 is concern…yes might modding will do everthing for win mo 7 installation on these old PPC’s.

  • The HTC HD2 is the most anticipated mobile phone at the end of the year 2009 in the world of Smartphones running Windows Mobile that is also a new terminal from the Taiwanese firm.

For all those people who have commented about HD2 not able to be upgraded to WinMo7; please do a bit of search, it very well is possible to upgrade although some functionality might be missing due to lack of hardware but that certainly will not be too much; HD2 already has great hardware for a smartphone.
