Asus A14 Air 2026 Combines Lightweight Design With 120Hz OLED

Asus has introduced a new AMD-powered version of the Adol 14 Air 2026 in China.

The lightweight laptop comes with an AMD Ryzen 9 8945H processor, a 120Hz OLED display, and a 70Wh battery. Prices start at approximately $1,003.

Design and Display

The Asus Adol 14 Air 2026 uses a magnesium-aluminium body measuring 14.9mm thick. It weighs approximately 990 grams, or 2.18 pounds.

Its display can also open to an angle of 180 degrees. The laptop includes a backlit keyboard, a large touchpad and an infrared camera for facial recognition.

The laptop has a 14-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2880 × 1800 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The panel covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour space and reaches a claimed peak brightness of 1,100 nits. It also carries DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification.

Internals

The laptop is powered by AMD’s Ryzen 9 8945H, an eight-core and 16-thread processor from the Hawk Point family.

Graphics are handled by the processor’s integrated Radeon 780M GPU. Asus allows the processor to operate at up to 45W under sustained workloads.

Cooling is provided by two fans and two heat pipes. Asus says this system is designed to maintain performance while controlling fan noise and temperatures.

Buyers can choose between 16GB and 32GB of LPDDR5X memory. Both configurations are listed with a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, while a second M.2 slot is available for storage expansion.

Battery and Ports

A 70Wh battery powers the laptop.

Its port selection includes one full-featured USB4 port, another full-featured USB-C connection, two USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1 and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Pricing and Availability

The 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD model costs $1003 in Hyacinth Blue and $1018 in Iris Purple.

The 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD configuration costs $1121 in blue and $1136 in purple. The laptops are currently available in China through JD.com.

Asus has not announced international availability for this particular AMD configuration.
