Ufone Facilitates Daewoo Express Bus Customers via UPaisa

Ufone has further extended the scope and use of its financial solution, Upaisa by collaborating with Daewoo Express bus service.

Now customers – travelling with Daewoo Bus service – will be able to make ticket purchase in advance via Upaisa. This milestone is yet another step towards the promotion of mobile financial services in Pakistan.

UPaisa is the first branchless banking service to form this partnership with Daewoo Express bus service to facilitate customers in ticket purchase. The key features of this service are:

• All customers can now avail the facility of purchasing Daewoo bus tickets in advance from their nearest Ufone service centre.
• They will only have to pay the bus fare, no additional service fee will be charged from the customers.
• Currently available only on Ufone service centres, however, will be extended to rest of Upaisa agents and Upaisa mobile accounts soon.
• The service is available for all Ufone and non- Ufone customers.
