Microsoft to Launch its Lumia 640XL Dual SIM in Pakistan with-in a Week

Microsoft is planning to make its next most anticipated phone in the mid-range price point, the Lumia 640XL available in Pakistan with-in next 7-10 days, we have checked.

After the success of Lumia 535, the company has realized the importance of packing good hardware in decently priced phones, and Lumia 640XL is no exception.

Priced at around Rs. 24,000 — that includes one free Office 365 license worth Rs. 6,000 — Lumia 640XL runs on top of a 5.7 inch vibrant and clear-black display.

Inside of Lumia 640XL sits a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad core processor, clocked at 1.2 GHz.

With 1GB RAM, and 8GB Internal memory — expandable to 128GB through external card — Lumia 640XL lacks a little on storage side. While 1GB of RAM could be enough, 8GB of internal memory is something which could be doubled to fit in the market demand.

The 13MB camera with ZEISS optics on Lumia 640 XL captures rich photos even in low light, while the 5MP wide-angle front-facing camera is ideal for Skype video calling, and Lumia Camera software right out of the box.

3,000 mAh battery Lumia 640XL ensures that you don’t run out of battery for a good one whole day, if not more.

  • when will be the LTE variant will be available i am desperately waiting for it…

    • Nope. Same Snapdragon 400 on 640, 640 XL, 730, 735 and 830. And the is no 740 coming. Next Lumias to release after Windows 10 RTMs are flagships 940 and 940 XL.

        • You’re welcome, but no, there is no 840 coming either. Like I said, the next Lumia to release will be the two flagships 940 and 940xl running Windows 10, around the September-October timeframe.

          • Talha Najam, Lumia 840 is also in working. IT will most probably be unvieled in a couple of months, or IFA 2015 with 940 and 940XL. 740 is also expected to make an appearance there

            • I highly doubt this. What’s your source? I haven’t seen a single reliable website mentioning anything such. Whereas the 940 and its xl version have gotten a ton of coverage.

This doesn’t make any sense either. They just released two affordable mid rangers, and have promised they’ll be the first ones to receive Windows 10 update when it launches. Releasing another mid range device so soon after it makes no sense. What they need are new flagships to show the true power of Windows 10. And the 940 and 940 xl will be just that if you look at their leaked specs.

  • Snapdragon 400 and 24k price – i know windows run well on low specs but still.

    • It runs well… very well. Lumia is much better in performance in comparison to my previous android with similar hardware.

  • This would have been my next, except I dunno. The rumored Lumia 940 xl specs and Windows 10 sounds too good so I think I’m gonna wait.
