Daraz.PK Gets a Makeover

To enhance customer experience, Daraz.pk has introduced a newly revamped website incorporated with a number of upgrades in terms of design, navigation and back-end systems support – rebuilding the frontend platform from scratch using the best frameworks and clean code.

The new technical capabilities of Daraz.pk will mean significantly reduced website load and a layout that focuses on high quality images and clarity when it comes to specifications and product details.

The online shopping portal hosts over 6 million monthly visitors and 60,000 products – these numbers are expected to increase exponentially within the next few months with the upgraded infrastructure aimed at dealing with the spike in traffic.

The company has come a long way since inception three years ago and now was the opportune time for a thorough facelift to reflect further expansion plans and growth strategy, especially with Black Friday – the biggest shopping event of the year – just around the corner.

With the new website design, the company aims to make customers’ shopping experience as direct and engaging as possible. The most evident change is that Daraz.pk is now less cluttered, more streamlined and easier to navigate.

  • Daraz is the biggest cheater in Pakistan. They are selling lenovo A7000 set in 27% discount in 18350 and shows the real price is 23000 but the real price is as same as discounted price 18350

      • Bro I don’t know which product are you talking about in particular, however, i bought a micro usb cable from them at Rs. 600 and the same cable is being offered by homeshopping.pk for Rs. 1200 plus no shipping charges.

  • Daraz is just too big an ecommerce player with non to its competition in terms of products and marketing . It has gone on to make its own rules regarding ethics and customer values as currently its ruling the ecommerce market whatsoever . Unless a healthy competitor comes to the scene with better customer value policy its gonna be like this.
Moreover i think its time for the pakistani retailers to go online individually and lower dependance on ecommerce vendors , keeping in view the forecast of pakistani ecommerce thats expected to reach $600 million by 2017. Vendors who will have their own web store are more likely to provide quality customer service if the are to keep their goodwill.
Local Ecommerce platforms are non existent in Pakistan and this is a great opportunity for pakistani startups .
