Mobilink is considering to relaunch its long-time native youth brand “Jazz” in coming few weeks, we have checked with reliable sources who are familiar with the developments.
Sources tell me that Mobilink is taking its biggest step of the year by aggressively working on the relaunch of Jazz brand that will cater to the youth of Pakistan with youth-specific products and services.
It merits mentioning here that Jazz was Mobilink’s long-time youth brand that was absorbed into one single brand of “Mobilink” when company had re-branded itself in 2013 after Orascom was acquired by VimpelCom.
Even after two years of its shut-down, the term “Jazz” is still very much alive and widely used by Mobilink customers to define their cellular connection.
In line with Mobilink’s strategy of digitalization, company has plans to leverage Jazz by launching youth-centric digital products in future under the umbrella of Jazz.
Sources told me that designated teams are extensively working on the new look of Jazz, however, it is still unclear if anything has been finalized so far or not.
While we don’t have a timeline for the launch yet, it is said that launch of Jazz won’t take long.
With this relaunch, Mobilink customers can expect exciting new tariffs particularly for data services, new products and a all new face of Jazz brand.
