ICT R&D Fund Invites Tenders for National Incubation Centre

During Dec 2015, the government gave the go-ahead for establishing a ‘Tech City’ in Islamabad, for which National Incubation Center will be setup for young graduates, entrepreneurs and startups.

The decision to establish the National Incubation Center was undertaken with Ms. Anusha Rehman, Federal Minister for IT and Telecom. National Information Technology Board (NITB) came forward and agreed to provide space for the National Incubation program.

Request for Proposal to Build and Establish National Incubation Center

ICT R&D Fund is now finally inviting proposals for establishment and managing the National Incubation Center.

The ICT R&D Fund Company is engaged in promoting the progress of ICT field in Pakistan, towards the creation of a knowledge-based economy in the country.

To this effect, the company has sent Request for Proposal (RFP) so that qualified licensed/registered legal entities can bid for the project to build and establish the National Incubation Center in Islamabad.

To be eligible for the RFP, the applicants should be:

  • On Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and must have sound financial backing,
  • A Professional management team with prior experience in ICT sector.
  • Entities having international partnerships/collaborations are also encouraged to apply.

The project has been initially estimated to be of 5 years.

Deadline for Submission of RFP

The last date of submission of proposals is April 27th 2016 and at no later than 15:00.

During the same day, proposals will be checked in the presence of bidders/authorized representatives at 15:30. The event will be held at National ICT R&D Fund, 6th Floor, HBL Tower, Jinnah Avenue, Blue Area, Islamabad.
