Great news for Pakistani gamers wanting to experience a whole new list of titles on a multiplayer platform because PTCL has introduced new online game servers for multiple titles.
On PTCL’s gaming lounge homepage, the company has mentioned that PGL has relaunched CS:GO, suggesting that other dedicated servers for games are also going to be introduced in the near future. If you take a look at the games list below, you will see that several more have been added in order to improve your online experience.

Getting Registered with PTCL Gaming Lounge
In order to start playing, you will first have to register yourself by visiting this link. You will have to install the game client software on PC to get access to Gaming Lounge servers.
Requirements for using this service include users having a working telephone line as well as a subscription to any high-speed broadband packages. The Gaming Lounge is open to all users, not just PTCL’s. However, PTCL users can avail special discounts for the service.
PTCL has really done its homework by laying down a long list of rules and conditions that you will have to follow to the letter if you want to remain registered to the service. Currently, the service is open to everyone but after March 31, 2016, PTCL will be including charges. We’ll be updating you with further details on PTCL Gaming Lounge when they become available.
As for now, check out these games that PTCL has introduced and hopefully, more titles will be added in the near future.

Well well, look at the list of games, this is insane because “Squad”- steam is not listed in the list, neither Arma 3.
they had ARMA 3 server run for 6 months and hardly saw any Pakistani users.

I have an 8 mbps connection and it’s great especially since games have large updates. Ping is also fine in black ops 3

Yes, its fiber connection. There isn’t any lag when playing online with other pakistanis but if you play with Europeons or with anyone else in the world the ping increases a lot which causes more lag.
Do they provide any special modem for the internet or the usual standard tenda (modem+router)?
Depends on your City. I get 200+ms on PTCL to Europe in Lahore (in Rocket League, PS4). I get 145ms on Fiberlink though (Transworld backbone)
I’m currently using Fariya and it’s great allows me to game online (I’m not a hardcore gamer) without any problems except for the fact that GTA V never ever connects online. I did all the tricks but all in vain.. I’m from Karachi btw..
It’s probably a NAT issue. Read up about it online.
I’ve set my router in DMZ mode. It’s probably Fariya blocking some particular port used by GTA.. All the games work fine and PS4 shows my NAT as Type 2 which is considered open..
That is weird. You should check which ports are used bt GTA and check if they are open. I played GTA V online perfectly fine on my PS4.

They should get BF4 servers here in pakistan.Trust me..i lot of players have bf4 and will play there.Why they dont get servers for games that are popular?Instead they are giving servers for crappy games.Any idea?
