The display is surrounded by four front-facing speakers with support for DTS-HD audio technology. There is a dedicated MediaMaster button on the side of the tablet to quickly optimize the display and audio settings depending on what is being watched, using MediaTek’s MiraVision display engine.

Under the hood you’ll get a MediaTek MT8163 Soc with four 64-bit Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.3/1.5 Ghz. It is followed by 2 GB worth RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, expandable by up to 128 GB. The back boasts a 5 MP camera, followed by a 2 MP sensor on the front.

On the software side, you get Android 6.0 Marshmallow which is the latest version. Acer has also made a few custom additions like EZ Utilities which simplifies the interface and enlarges the icons. The battery life is also said to provide up to 8 hours of backup.

The Iconia Tab 10 will available starting from June onwards, at a rather alluring price of 180 pounds or $255 (approx. Rs. 26,700). That’s just about iPad mini 2 category-wise, we realize, but if you only use your large-screen tablet for binge-watching shows on Netflix, this is clearly your better option.
