The OnePlus phones, along with their Nexus counterparts, have redefined our entire idea of how a flagship device should be. No longer are users willing to shell out large sums of money for a top-end phone when they know that they can have a potentially better one for less.
Now the company is gearing up for the launch of its next-generation device, called the OnePlus 3. The phone is going to be announced on June, 15th but that’s not even the most-exciting bit. With the OnePlus 3, the company is fixing its biggest flaw: availability.
The new phone will be available without the much-derided invite system of old, meaning the phone will be available right on launch day in China, and on retail in other markets like these products usually are, not requiring a special permit (or at the extreme, a phone-shattering stunt which we mean literally) that you needed until now.
The phone itself should be priced in the $350-400 range much like previous OnePlus flagships. If you are unable to buy it in the first round, don’t worry for the inventory will be replenished after a couple of weeks.
To top off the deal, the company will be holding a VR shopping experience through a Play Store app in virtual reality, where you can shop for your future phone too. Otherwise retail is your way to go.
On the specs side, the phone is expected to come with a 5.5” 1080p AMOLED display, a fingerprint scanner, 4 or 6 GB RAM, 64 GB storage, Snapdragon 820, NFC and a 3,000 mAh battery. Anyhow, you won’t have to wait for long for the full list to appear. Watch this space.
ye Snapdragon 820 kesa processor he ?
Kafi badtamiz processor hy.
lol
badtamiz or besharam bhi
Ma baap ne tarbiat sahi nahi ki buhut besharam processor he :D
On a serious note,
Its one of the best processors you can currently have in ur phone.
we won’t need invite but we’ll need chinese visa to buy it :/
You can use services like pkship to buy such stuff.
I asked them for one mobile phone from AliExpress but they said we are NOT shipping mobile phone due to PTA approval issue.
yea … EVERYONE is dead scared of PTA.
i HATE PTA !
No it not just PTA, kamchoor customs are to blame.
yea same thing happened with me. My phone was stopped by the customs and although I was able to get noc from PTA and paid taxes on it , the aliexpress seller who sold me the phone even stopped selling to anyone in Pakistan citing customs.
it is free.
How you can get OnePlus phones in Pakistan without getting into the headache of PTA stupid process, I guess one article should be on that Mr. Azeem and Mr. Aamir ?
or there’s no way , thats why no articles on the bypass.
congrats on being a Pakistani …
Do you even know how difficult importing a phone to Pakistan is? there are no laws they can charge you any amount of custom tax, etc. PTA’s website even does not mentions blacklisted brands. they dont even mention about gsma database. whole system is corrupt.
hahaha ! nice touch
Why is this even news for Pakistanis? one plus wont come here officially and secondly very few people know about this brand. Most people in Pakistan know qmobile, lg, samsung or Apple.
