The mandate of educational board was not merely conducting examinations; it is also responsible for the provision of a healthy learning environment to the youth of the province.

He further added that the recruitment of 25,000 teachers on strict merit in education department during the last three years is proof of the Provincial government’s commitment to stabilize educational organizations of the public sector.

Various other matters including further improvement and transparency in the examination system, maximum use of information technology and utilization of surplus land of BISEs for promotion of sports activities were also discussed. The participants agreed upon several decisions related to these affairs.

The introduction of the new OMR system will substantially enhance the checking capabilities of the BISEs in KP.

  • if KPK govt want to achieve landmarks in education they will have to offer golden handshakes to all the teachers employed during ANP era. most of the teachers were employed by taking 2 lakh rupees per post.

    • If you know that ANP thing is true, you should also know that KPK government doesn’t have enough resources to do these things that easily!

  • Haven’t the education boards already been using this through out Pakistan. I mean I remember when gave board exams out mcqs were already using this technique….. (I’m talking about BISE Lahore)
