On this occasion, Anusha shed light on the Government’s relentless focus on making Pakistan an ideal investment destination, while praising the role of telecom sector in the country’s socioeconomic growth.

“Pakistan offers an ideal environment for telecom sector as the country has one of the largest cellular phone subscribers. Due to the incentives-based transparent policies of the government, international business community’s confidence to invest in Pakistan has also improved.”

She added that the contributions Pakistan’s telecom industry continues to make towards the realization of our convergent digital and financial inclusion goals deserve support and applause.

“The role Telenor Pakistan in particular has played for the development and promotion of digital ecosystem in Pakistan is especially commendable. For a developing country like Pakistan, ICT-powered digital initiatives can play a vital role in the country’s growth and I’m glad Telenor Pakistan is leading in that area.”

The dynamic festival showcased Telenor Pakistan’s digital products and solutions portfolio including range of 3G handsets, internet devices, IoT products, mobile applications, mobile payments solutions and more.
