Telenor Pakistan has today announced Monday, 4 July 2016 a holiday as part of this year’s Eid Celebration.
This is the first time in the industry that official Eid holidays will be extended to a whole nine days.
The decision has been taken to facilitate employees who have to travel during Eid holidays to meet their loved ones.
With new schedule, Eid Holidays at Telenor will be from from July 2nd till July 10th, 2016.
First working day after Eid will be July 11th, 2016.
Telenor said that initiative is in line with company’s efforts to maintain its leadership as one of the most preferred employers in the country.
During Ramzan Telenor Pakistan extended its working hours from 8am to 5.30pm whereby employees can not only choose suitable slots, but also alter their daily working duration as long as required number of working hours on weekly basis is met.
Telenor Pakistan has been the pioneer in introducing flexible work arrangement which is applicable all year round whereby in addition to flexi timings, employees can also work from home.
It is yet to be seen if other telcos are going to follow the suit or not.

Telenor please advise and train MTBC one of the leading software companies to do the same. They neither give Pakistani leaves nor U.S leaves. Satday is on and sometimes Sunday also. On Eid you only get Eid day leaves and some employees are asked to come on Eid day for 4 hours. With so much profits They have still not matured and sucking the blood of poor employees.
