Free First Class Emirates Tickets on Facebook, Whatsapp are Not Real

Recently, you may have seen this message appearing in your Facebook or Whatsapp accounts that Emirates, the airline has selected you for 2 free tickets to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

In case you have come across these messages, they are completely fake and the airline is running no promotions of the sort.

You can see it here (as a Whatsapp message):

This is where the link redirects you to (which, we should mention again, is fake):

The amateurish website design should be enough to tick anyone off that things are not what they seem to be. The balloon emote from the Whatsapp message not withstanding.

It could seem that a bot is responsible for sending this message to random people who, without verifying the contents, share it with others on their list be it friends, family or acquaintances.

After all, its human nature to feel happy in the belief that you have just won the lottery (or an airline ticket in this instance).

Nonethless, if you come across such a message, spread the word that it isn’t legitimate and no one needs to take a week or two off work for the vacation that never was.
