Apple App Store Soon to Offer Purchases in Pakistani Rupees

If you want to know about all the Apple mobiles, here’s a list of the latest Apple mobiles price in Pakistan and their specs.

Apple today announced that it will start charging Pakistani customers in Pakistani Rupees, instead of US dollars.

With this, Pakistani customers will make purchases or pay for their subscriptions in Pakistani rupees, and hence will save at least 3.5% currency exchange fee that banks impose on foreign currency transactions.

Not to mention, Google already charges Pakistani users in Pakistani Rupees.

Moreover, since customers tend to make more purchases when in local currency, Apple is hoping for more business from with-in Pakistan.

Pakistani developers will also be paid in local currency after this transition.

Apple didn’t communicate a timeline for the rollout of local currency in Pakistan but it is hoped that Pakistani Rupee, as a currency, will be available on App Store with-in next two weeks.

  • oh KHAIR.. so it would be even great if they charge from cellular companies.. Like Nokia has done. With no credit cards but only mobile balance.

    • It could be a good start up idea! Why is going for it? Anything this is online, you’ll be able to buy with your mobile balance.
