ICT R&D Fund to Setup Multi Million Dollar Incubation Centers in Provincial Capitals

ICT R&D Fund, after successfully inaugurating National Incubation Center in Islamabad, is now planning to set up similar facilities in all provincial capitals.

According to an RFP (request for proposals) published in newspapers and on their official website, such Incubation Centers are planned for

  • Lahore,
  • Karachi,
  • Peshawar
  • Quetta.

ICT R&D Fund has invited companies which can setup and maintain incubation centers to apply with their proposals for these four new incubation centers across Pakistan.

RFP said that any company can apply with any number of applications, meaning that single company can apply for Lahore as well as for Karachi or other cities. However, all applications will be evaluated separately and one single company may get one or more contracts.

RFP said that companies applying to win the tender should have strong financial backing, should be on active taxpayers list with professional management team and prior relevant experience in ICT sectors.

Moreover, entities having international partnerships and collaborations are also encouraged to apply.

Deadline for submission of proposals is February 22nd, 2017.
