Remember the kid who inaugurated Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Peshawar back in 2015? He was right there with Imran Khan when the hospital was officially inaugurated.
According to a local newspaper “Mashriq”, 7 year old Fakhir Afridi, a cancer patient, has finally won the battle against the lethal disease after two and a half years. He was suffering from blood cancer and is now healthy and even going to school.
Fought Cancer For 2.5 Years
Fakhir comes from Kohat district of KPK. His father, Qasim Afridi, works at a pharmaceutical company in Karachi.
The child was diagnosed with blood cancer at the tender age of 4 and a half years and was shifted to Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital for treatment. It is no easy task undergoing treatment for cancer. People often lose hope after a few years and completely give up on any chance of recovery.
His parents were overjoyed at his recovery. They were thankful to Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital and to Imran Khan for providing free treatment.
Qasim Afridi said that he would devote his life to cancer patients and would become a permanent member of a fund raising campaign of the hospital.
Another One to be Built in Karachi
Earlier, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center was inaugurated in Karachi. The ground breaking ceremony was held on December 29th, 2016.
It will be located in DHA City and will cost Rs. 4.5 billion from groundbreaking to the finishing touches.

What Imran has done anybody can do to build Hospital, What Nawaz Shareef is doing nobody can do this in this world for Pakistan. You guys need to understand.
at least they should have a built a hospital where they can be treated themselves. Everytime they have cough, fever they go straight to london. Isn’t this a joke? forget everything else. Why dont they go and govern the brits if they can’t get treated themselves here.

IK has done a huge favor by giving multiple Cancer hospitals to this country. Even if he is drug addict, it does not hurt ordinary person (health and pocket) but what hurts is: (1) if someone loots tax payer money (2) if someone don’t give basic facilities and even clean drinking water. (3) if someone keeps sleeping while his police kills people.
Out of all supporters here of NS and SS, how many (1) Sends his kid to govt school in Punjab (2) goes every time to govt hospital for medical care of his relatives (3) let banks pay zakat (4) does not use mineral water (5) trust police fully
Also if you could share the number of years SS ruled in Punjad and Ns ruled in Pakistan.
