Pre-order Overload

Since the S8’s reveal at the “UNPACKED” event in New York the pre-orders have been flooding the retailers across the world. In Samsung’s home country, South Korea, pre-orders crossed 550,000 in just 2 days. Comparing the numbers there’s a staggering 5 times higher amount of pre-orders made for the Galaxy S8 compared with the Galaxy S7. Moreover, the customers are leaning more towards the bigger S8+.

Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with a 5.8 inch curved, bezel-less, infinity display at QHD (1440 x 2960) resolution and an 83.6% screen to body ratio. The Infinity display was rated as the best display on a smartphone ever by DisplayMate.

It will come with two different processor variants with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and Samsung’s own Exynos 8895 octa. It will feature 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot for extra space.

Additionally it will feature a 3,000 mAH battery with 12 MP primary camera and an 8 MP front camera.
