Noman Azhar, the former Head of Mobile Financial Services at Ufone, has joined Meezan Bank as its Head of Branchless Banking, we have checked with sources directly aware of the development.
Noman will be reporting directly to Mr. Faiz Ur Rehman, the Group Head for IT and Digital Banking in Meezan Bank.
Noman was heading Ufone’s Mobile Financial Services department before he joined Virtual Remittance Gateway (VRG) which is a subsidiary of Pathfinder group as Chief Commercial Officer.
Noman brings along years of experience in Mobile Financial Services and Branchless banking domain.
Considering the uptake of digital banking in the country, Nouman is likely to play a key role in streamlining Meezan Bank’s digital and branchless banking segments.
Meezan Bank is one of fastest growing banks in Pakistan and is famous for its Islamic banking segment.

I know him personally. He is a professional cheater and did not deserve this position. i am sure Meezan bank will fire this man in a few months as what like Ufone did it . You can ask from any person at Ufone head office about his professional attitude. He will only work for his own company which he has made with some partners.
