Overall, volumes plunged to 96 million shares in KSE 100 index today, with a total worth of 9.23 billion.
TECHNOLOGY AND COMMUNICATION was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 80,609,000 shares. It was followed by CHEMICAL with a total traded volume of 29,887,710 shares and CEMENT sector with a total traded volume of 27,016,350.

It was followed by Engro Polymer with 21.55 million shares, losing Rs 0.94 to close at Rs 29.57, Dewan Cement 16.36 million shares, gaining Rs 1.27 to close at Rs 26.85 and TRG Pak Ltd with 15.92 million shares, gaining Rs 0.06 to close at Rs 57.98.
