Atlas Battery Debuts Its Mist Fans & Selfie Donations Campaign in Ramadan

This summer has been marked as the hottest summer in the history of Pakistan by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) with mercury levels touching above 50ºC, affecting large parts of the country.

To protect the citizens of Pakistan from excruciating heat and spread the spirit of compassion and goodwill this Ramadan, Atlas Battery has started its #RamadanRecharge campaign.

Ramadan Recharge is a CSR activity through which the company has installed state-of-the-art Mist Fans powered by AGS Batteries at the bus stands across Pakistan. Since many people fast during this month, and with the ever-increasing temperatures, Atlas Battery’s campaign can help make things more easier for travelers, while also giving them a chance to earn blessings by helping out the less fortunate amongst us.

The initiative provides a moment of peace and relaxation for common citizens, a place of shelter where they can escape the unforgiving summer sun while waiting for their public transport to arrive.

Unlike last year, the fans aren’t only equipped in Karachi but also at Bank Road in Rawalpindi, Eid Gha in Multan and Airport Road in Peshawar.

Selfie Lou, Eidi Dou

Atlas Battery is also continuing their Self Lou, Eidi Dou campaign to bring about a change in people’s lives.

Not only has the company installed mist fans across Pakistan to provide shade to the travelers, but every selfie taken at these bus stands and uploaded on Facebook with the hashtag #RamadanRecharge, gives a chance for an orphan to receive Eidi and gifts from Atlas Battery this month.

This initiative is indeed a positive step for those who want to contribute and help the less fortunate in a meaningful way. More importantly, in the month of Ramadan, it is even more important to be engaged in activities which help others as one gets double sawab for every single deed.
