Jazz has been awarded the 4G spectrum by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) after it paid the license fee, we have checked officially.
According to information shared with ProPakistani, Jazz paid 100% of license fee that amounts to USD 295 million as a base price and an additional 10% in taxes to start its work on expanding the existing 4G coverage in Pakistan.
“This development is truly very exciting for us at Jazz because it allows us to provide Pakistan with a far reaching and enhanced mobile broadband experience,” Aamir Ibrahim, CEO – Jazz said. “Acquisition of the additional spectrum demonstrates Jazz’s investment in the country’s digital future – in line with our vision of becoming a true digital entity.”
This reflects Jazz’s commitment and support for the Government and its digital Pakistan’s agenda. Jazz was the only operator to have participated in the 4G spectrum auction and hence qualified as the winner without any bidding.
By expanding its 4G network, Jazz looks to bring in new digital experiences designed to not only provide exceptional communications services, but also convenient financial, business and entertainment solutions.

Trust me, the warid customers of jazz are not so happy. Previously there was 4G service on warid network and currently with jazz we dont even get a stable 3G service. Time to port out I guess.

Dear, I am not favour any company but here is many locations I have visited still no ZONG 3G but Telenor 3G covered since last 1 year & JAZZ 3G covered last 8 months. I know ZONG is best in quality but where is 680 cities they are covered???????? Just marketing. I am not agree with you.
Bro Jazz is 100% better than Zong in all terms except costly packages…Zong 3G speed in my city doesn’t touches even 100kb after last month and the signals MashaAllah hardly i can get 2 to 3 signal of Zong 3G..on the other hand i get full Jazz 3G signals and the speed remains at 800kb to 1mbps and the signals remains stable also..i hope Jazz should start its 4G in my city as soon as possible..Zong is rubbish network

I called Zong customer care center to complain for low speed and low signal problem..the customer representative said that they do not have any commitment for providing Zong network in your city and said if its working you can use it on your own otherwise they are not responsible for anything…i mean wtf if they do not have any commitment then why the hell they installed Zong 2G and 3G tower in my city..m

Yes obviously but that warid spectrum is going to be expired in 2019 and PTA already told no more spectrum auction till 2021 or 2022 maybe.

Not sure about other areas but along gt road and motorway between Lahore and islamabad and within islamabad where I work, along both rural and semi urban areas between gt road and motorway, my experience has been best with Jazz. I use two 4g sims of telenor and jazz each, and mobile WiFi device of zong.
