Pakistan International Airline is ready to add another wide-body Boeing 777 Airliner to its fleet this week, we have checked with sources.
According to details shared with ProPakistani, this new B777 aircraft will be acquired on a dry lease for an amount that has not been made public as of yet.
B777 — with registration number F-OSYD — is a wide-body Boeing 777-3Q8(ER) and was operational with Air Austral of France and comes with an age of 8.5 years. It made its debut flight in April 2009.

Pakistan International Airline is likely to get the plane this week after which it will be branded with PIA’s own livery and will be operated by PIA for long-haul routes.
Sources confirmed to ProPakistani that the lease is being managed by a Macquarie and lease term is six years for now.
It must be mentioned here that PIA was over capacity for its hajj flight due to recently grounded aircraft.
