Multan Launches Free Bus Service for Bakra Mandis

Eid-ul-Adha is right around the corner and majority of the people are making their way to the animal markets.

The Government of Multan for its part, has decided to help its citizens. They are now going to offer free bus services on the routes to the animal markets.

The Commissioner of Multan, Bilal Ahmed Butt announced this while he was presiding over a meeting to make arrangements for the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

The Regional Police officer, Sultan Azam Taimuri, said that all the resources in the hands of police and administration are going to be used to maintain the law and order on the occasion.

They have also formed special teams which will control one-wheeling on roads and strict actions will be taken against those who violate the rules.

Citizens can now avail free bus rides to the animal market courtesy of the Multan administration.

Rules for Parks Outlined

A ban has also been placed on rides and swings in parks and streets by Nadir Chatha, the deputy commissioner. He said for rides to operate, they would have to get certificates of fitness from the responsible authorities.

The Mayor of Multan, Naveedul Haq Arain said that they will run operations against the obstruction of people’s privacy, especially during the Eid days when many families are expected to visit recreational spots around the city.

The Multan Commission hopes that the Eid would be spent in peace and high spirits.
