Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has revealed that it received 4,490 complaints from consumers against different telecom operators including (cellular operators, PTCL, LDIs, WLL operators, and ISPs) during August 2017.
According to PTA data available with ProPakistani, PTCL leads the chart with 1,585 and Jazz (Mobilink + Warid) stands at the second position as the most complained telecom operator with 951 complaints.
PTA claims that it was able to get 92.41 percent of the complaints resolved.
Cellular mobile subscribers constitute a major part of overall telecom subscriber base, therefore, the maximum number of complaints belong to this segment. The total number of complaints against CMOs during August 2017 stood at 2,812.
In terms of the segregation of complaints on operator basis, a total of 951 complaints were received against Jazz which is 34% of the total CMO related complaints.
Telenor, which has the second largest number of consumers, was second with 876 i.e. 31 percent complaints were received against it.
Zong stood third with 568 complaints i.e. 20 percent of total complaints.
Ufone had 417 complaints against its various services which make up 14 percent of the total CMO related complaints.

Telenor K Bhi Complaints Hoti hai But Quick Action Bhi Ho Jati hai :
Thank I am Not Jazz Customer
Nor me
I am jazz customer and a very happy one. Complaints volume iss liyay zayada hoga kyon keh they have much more subscribers as compared to other mobile operators.
My Brothers & Cousins are using JAZZ even they are happy with JAZZ
Has PTA considered the factor of number of total subscribers against the total number of complaints???
I believe number of complaints should be directly proportional to the total number of subscribers each operator has as evident from the above complaint figures.
More important figure would be the ratio between active subscriber base vs the total complaints.
these are complaints logged to PTA
not complaints logged to PTCL directly
More number of subscribers = more number of complaints… simple!
Your logic is incorrect. Sorry brother
How??
Agree
PTA should stop beating about the bush and take formal action against PTCL for sucking so bad by imposing heavy fines until they improve their service.
Just I m still didn’t get why they allow PTCL to proved there services . But one new thing I experience now days if hv any problem in PTCL line . Thy direct said better disconnection ur connection .
PTA should also take notice of the most expensive data bundles of Jazz.
Then PTA should take action against Ufone first because Ufone has highest rates of data bundles as compared to others. Jazz and Zong Data Bundles are of competive price.
