Huawei to Solve Issue of Long Queues at Pakistani Airports

Famous Chinese tech giant, Huawei, is arranging to supply advanced facilities to the people traveling to and from Pakistani airport terminals.

The plan named “Airport Solution” is a creative idea which will help decrease long lines at the airports. The idea introduced will be able to identify faces and collect information on visitor’s passports and visas through security cameras. The security doors will automatically open upon the arrival of visitors.

Huawei has suggested the arrangement to Pakistani authorities in response to the increasing number of Chinese people and foreign guests in Pakistan due to the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). This will help avoid long waiting lines at the airplane terminals while focusing on better security checks and clearance for visitors.

Alaa Elshimy, MD Enterprise Business Group Huawei said, Pakistan is witnessing a continuous increase in foreign visitors since the beginning of CPEC. She added that Pakistan’s economy is progressing with this joint venture and they will help Pakistan in building advanced facilities at the airports so that foreigners can stay happy and satisfied with improved traveling facilities.

It is not only Pakistan which will benefit with Huawei’s technology, but the company is also advertising this solution to many other developing nations. Huawei has also created other IT solutions such as “Mission Critical Server”. The company is already working in Pakistan on different projects and has successfully completed smart city projects in Lahore and Islamabad.
