The official also said,

Najam Sethi will also take up the issue of security and coordination among the law enforcement agencies for the next PSL season.

The player draft will be held on November 10th. It was moved to October due to requests from two franchises, however, the issue was resolved and it was postponed to November.

The decision has initially come as a result of the South African T20 Global league which was going to kick off in November. Durban Qalanders and Benoni Zalmi, two Pakistani franchises were also supposed to take part in the T20 Global League. The South African league has now been postponed until next year allowing the board to hold the draft as per normal schedule.
