Pakistan Post Suffers Rs.16.8 Billion in Losses in Last Two Years

Minister for Postal Services Moulana Ameer Zaman apprised the Senate that Pakistan Post Office Department suffered Rs 16.795 billion in loss during the last two years.

Responding to a question during a Question Hour, the Minister said that the Pakistan Post Office suffered Rs. 7.488 billion and Rs. 9.306 billion losses during fiscal year 2015-16 and 2016-17 respectively.

He said that to foster further development and diversification of postal services as well as to cater the varied needs of the customers, especially trade and commerce, Pakistan Post was offering a full range of Traditional and Expresss services.
