Pakistan Super League (PSL) has already played a vital role in shedding light on emerging talents such as Shadab Khan, Hasan Ali and Fakhar Zaman — all of them, now an integral part of the national team.
Now, the highly anticipated event is going to welcome the return of a fallen star in Pakistan cricket – Imran Nazir.
The 35-year-old was diagnosed with career-ending arthritis in 2015 which subsequently stalled his career. Reports claim that the player has now recovered completely and is looking to get back in action.
Imran returned to action earlier this year but did not feature in any noticeable games; he played some side matches in the UAE and was part of The Bahrain Cricket Festival match alongside Misbah-ul-Haq and Shahid Afridi.
Despite not featuring in any competitive game since 2014, the hard hitting batsman remains hopeful of his chances.
Multan Sultans are reportedly showing keen interest in the Imran Nazir. However, nothing is official until the PSL drafts are finalized on Sunday.
