Schools in Punjab to Remain Closed on Monday and Tuesday: Minister

Punjab Government has decided to keep educational institutes closed for at least two days, i.e. on Monday and Tuesday, due to prevailing law and order situation in the country, reported ARY News.

Rana Mashood, Education Minister of Punjab, announced that all school, colleges and Universities in the province will remain closed on Monday and Tuesday.

He said that this closure could be extended if situation doesn’t get better and a fresh announcement will be made accordingly.

For now, the closure is decided for just Monday and Tuesday.

It maybe recalled that protests across Pakistan erupted after Federal Government decided to take action against protesters in Faizabad.

The situation is serious since then as countless protests have closed roads across major cities in the country.
