Lucky Cement Limited (LUCK PA) has notified for the commencement of its 1.30mn tons Brownfield cement expansion at its Karachi Plant .The line was commissioned on December 12, 2017.
The total cement production capacity of the company has now increased from previous 7.75 million tons to 9.35 million tons per annum. This is also due to the addition of the New Line plant in Karachi for 1.30 million tons and certain efficiency improvements in other two productions in the North Plant for another 0.3 million tons.
This makes Lucky the biggest cement player in the country.
At the time of filing this report, LUCKY’s script at the bourse was trading at Rs445.11 down by Rs-9.70 or -2.13% with the KSE 100 down by -230.04 points trading at 38414.26 index level.
