Sanofi Aventis, a Pharma Company, Loses Rs. 56 Million in Warehouse Fire

According to a bourse filing, Sanofi-Aventis Pakistan has reported that one of the company’s third-party operated warehouse has caught fire.

The company estimated the inventory loss resulting from the fire to exceed Rs. 56 million.

Earnings Report

Sanofi-Aventis Pakistan Limited reported its earnings results for the third quarter and nine months, ended September 30 2017, recently. For the quarter, the company’s net sales were Rs. 3.13 billion compared to Rs. 3.73 billion a year ago.

Profit before taxation was Rs. 1.39 billion compared to Rs. 1.10 billion in the same period last year. Net profit was Rs. 947 million compared to Rs. 606 million last year.
