This mega oil city will be used for transportation of imported oil through the Gwadar Port to China.
The oil will be imported from the Gulf states and will be stored at this proposed megacity. It will shorten the Chinese travel distance from forty days to seven days from Gwadar to the Chinese border.
Earlier, that route of import through western China took double the distance. The PC-I of the project has been sent to the Federal Ministry of Petroleum for approval.
