The Pakistan cricket team skipper Sarfraz Ahmed says that he gets inspiration from the Indian legend MS Dhoni. Sarfraz spoke to the media in a press conference ahead of the tri-series between Pakistan, Zimbabwe, and Australia.
The skipper was all praise for India’s most successful captain when asked about the most influential captains of the modern era.
The wicket-keeper batsman told explained that Dhoni possesses all the attributes to be an exceptional leader, as he has proved in the past. He said:
MS Dhoni has led his side well as a captain in all three formats of the game, so I definitely do get inspired by him, I have only met him once, which was at the 4th June 2017 during the India-Pakistan game. When I look at him as a player and as a captain, I definitely get inspired by him.

Sarfraz Ahmed has enjoyed a decent record in captaincy as well. The skipper led the Green Team to its first-ever Champions Trophy in June last year.
Pakistan recently concluded its tour to England and Scotland with a decent run of games. The Green Shirts impressively drew the test series 1-1 with England and whitewashed the Scottish in the T20 series.
The national team will now travel to Zimbabwe under the leadership of Sarfraz Ahmed for a tri-series.
The struggling Australians and Zimbabwe will participate in the series along with Pakistan team.
