Home is where the heart is, they say, and what essentially makes a home are the people who inhabit it. All the loved ones we hold dear, and those whose sentiments are important to us, are tied to this place.

And the latest TV ad by Zameen.com hits home, which is probably why it has amassed over 4 million views within hours of going live.

It speaks of family and loved ones, and the effort that goes into turning a house into a home. The ad stars Fawad Khan, the lead from Zameen.com’s previous campaign Humain Pata Hai Aap Ke Dil Ki Baat, along with the famous Sana Javaid and veteran actor Asif Raza Mir. They play the roles of a workaholic top executive, his wife, and his boss, respectively. We must say that each actor has done tremendous justice to the role they are performing in the most quintessentially Pakistani way, which makes it really easy to relate to their characters. Don’t take our word for it though, and have a look for yourselves:

Fawad Khan is all of the ambitious people we know, going to every length and making all necessary sacrifices to advance in life and provide for their families. Looking back to our childhoods, we can all identify with the character of his young son Ali, played by Mirza Aaliyan Ali Baig, whose brilliantly emotional performance can take anyone back to what it feels like to be a child and want to have your entire family around you.

This ad celebrates the sacrifices we have to make in order to find the right balance, to not just provide for our families, but also to be there with them to enjoy that which has been earned. This is what makes life worthwhile.

People could relate to the ad in so many ways. Within hours, the official Zameen.com Facebook Page was flooded with comments related to the video.

They were all praise for the Zameen.com Team.

Some people could relate to the ad a little too well.

For most young and driven Pakistani parents, this is a story that is all too real. It talks of priorities, commitments, and the choices one has to make every day in pursuit of one’s goals.
