Fawad Alam Likely To Be Selected For ‘Pakistan A’ Squad Against Australia

With a change in the management, it seems like Fawad Alam’s career might finally be revived.

The selection committee has expressed its desire to include the left-handed batsman in the national squad against Australia A for the upcoming four-match ODI series, the sources have claimed.

It might come as a surprise to some since Fawad played his last one-day game back in 2015 against Bangladesh. However, his performances have convinced everyone that he deserves a second chance to prove his worth.

His immense scoring ability has led him to stack 10,744 with an average of 55.09 in the domestic circuit. There is no doubt that Pakistan national team can use a talent such as him, which has largely been wasted due to various reasons.
