Pakistan High Commission to Sri Lanka Launches New Official Website

The Pakistan High Commission to Sri Lanka has relaunched its official website on Tuesday.

While unveiling the new, culture-specific website, the High Commissioner had this to say about it:

“The new website will become a one-stop gateway for visitors to Pakistan with essential information highlighting the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan.”

The website contains photos and videos of renowned travel destinations, like Naltar Valley of Gilgit Baltistan and Hanna Lake in Quetta, as well as other prominent historic places in Pakistan. It also offers important information to citizens of Sri Lanka who want to travel to Pakistan. The information includes visa guidelines, charges, and the visa form.

It also offers information on the Buddhist and Gandhara Heritage of Pakistan including download links of books and publications on the topic.

The website also provides information about the country profile and the government of Pakistan.

Moreover, it provides links to several government organizations and official media outlets of Pakistan. There is also a section named scholarships, which will feature information on available exchange programs or any other scholarship offered by the country.

The new website also offers information on the activities of the High Commission and the projects that the government of Pakistan is supporting in Sri Lanka.

It also provides contact information for filing complaints.

The new website can be visited at https://www.pakistanhc.lk/

  • Why don’t all embassies have a common website domain name with each country having their own country specific sub-domains?

They could even use a common template to make things uniform.
