Injured Junaid Khan Ruled Out of the Remainder of New Zealand Series

Strike fast bowler Junaid Khan has been ruled out of the remaining matches of the series against New Zealand with an injury. It is being termed a huge blow to the Pakistan bowling brigade ahead of the second One Day International against New Zealand.

The news has come less than an hour before the start of the second game in Abu Dhabi.

Junaid, who was spot on with his length in the early overs of the innings, was unlucky to remain wicketless in the game. All-rounder Faheem Ashraf will fill his place in the team.

Junaid reportedly acquired a foot injury ahead of the crucial game. Similar injury ruled him out of the New Zealand tour in December last year when the left-arm quick hurt his left foot during Bangladesh Premier League.
