Huawei ICT Team Departs for 2018 International Finals

Out of 10,000 university students from all over the country 171 passed the Huawei Certified Network Associate (HCNA) Certification Exam and top 150 appeared in National Final Exam in Huawei 3rdĀ Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Competition 2018.

Out of these 10,000 students from all over the country 6 students finally selected for Huawei ICT Competition 2018 International Finals which will be held in Huawei headquarters in Shenzhen, China on 25thĀ November.

These top 6 students from around all over Pakistan will get divided into 2 teams of 3 students each, where each team will represent Pakistan, competing in different technologies of the ICT Competition. Huawei ICT team, Pakistan will be departing from Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore, highly motivated and focused for the International Finals, after passing different phases of the competition.

Huawei has invited colleges and universities in Pakistan to participate in the ICT competition to promote the ICT industry technology certification, and develop the local ICT industry talent and ecosystem.

Huawei has also collaborated with the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan to launch the Huawei Authorized information and Network Academy (HAINA) program. This program provides opportunities to promote studies of advanced technologies through R&D and adopt Huaweiā€™s globally renowned university-enterprise cooperation model.

In 2018, the 3rd ICT competition aimed to motivate more students into registering for the competition and polish their ICT talent. Huawei focused on holding awareness seminars, workshops and preliminary rounds of this yearā€™s competition at Pakistanā€™s 14 running HAINAs starting from this month.

The competition is part of Huaweiā€™s long standing effort to have a positive impact on the community in the Pakistan. Huawei has already implemented a Seeds for the Future program to offer training and internships to promising students across the region.
