Pakistan has jumped up to No.6 in the ICC Test rankings courtesy of England’s series sweep against Sri Lanka on their home turf.
Pakistan was placed at 7th with 95 points, and Sri Lanka was at 6th position with 97 points.
ICC released updated rankings after England completed their first-ever series sweep against Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka.
With three losses on the trot, Sri Lanka lost 4 points to go down to 7th position with 93 points, and as a result, Pakistan rose up to the 6th place despite losing the first match of the series against New Zealand.

Green Caps, who are currently cruising the second Test after a dramatic loss in the first, can go up to no.5.
