Gaining big from his century in the first innings of the final Test against New Zealand in the recently concluded series, Azhar Ali has broken into the top 10 of ICC Test rankings for batsmen.
His hundred helped him skip two places to perch on the tenth spot in the rankings.
His fellow centurion Asad Shafiq also climbed one spot to No.21. Babar Azam, who made a fighting 51 in Pakistan’s second innings, also rose three places to No.35.
