Acting President Sadiq Sanjrani approved a summary sent for the appointment of Murad Saeed as Federal Minister for Communication.
The President approved the summary on the advice of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Subsequently, Cabinet Division on Thursday issued a notification regarding the elevation of Murad Saeed.

It is to be mentioned here that during the recent performance review of members of the Federal Cabinet by the Prime Minister, Saeed has turned out to be the top performer.
During the review, the Prime Minister had praised his performance and indicated that he would elevate him to the status of a full minister.
