Pak Army has again proved that it is among the best armed forces in the world.
It has made a world record by deploying tanks on the highest elevation level of 12,000 feet above sea level. This is the feat that has remained unaccomplished otherwise.
The deployment has come as part of the Pak Army’s strategy in the war against the terrorists. The step has been undertaken by the armored regiment of Pakistan Armored Corps.
The tanks made their way to Brekh Muhammad Kandao Pass, a part of the Koh-e-Safed, which is 3,176 meters above the sea level and is opposite to Torra Bora mountains of Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province.
The deployment of tanks at such a high level is an attempt to ensure the nation’s safety.

I can say with confidence that if Pakistan military power were not at the point where it is, although I agree it costs quite much, our fate would have been no different than our Kashmiri brothers and sisters. We may not be good as a nation, we may not be very good at making peace with our PEACE LOVING neighbor, we may be spending too much on military equipment, let me ask you this. Nothing to be happy about it. This tank is deployed in KP against our own people. The world is laighing at us. They are progressing economically and we are happy waging wars inside Pakistan. People living in FATA are our own people. They need economic progress not wars.

Tanks are usually designed for mobile warfare where the opposition is also armored and is an offensive weapon. I do not see that tank doing penetration work here. It seems that it will simply fall off the cliff if it goes forward to Afghanistan to punish the bad guys there.
