Washington-based magazine, Foreign Policy has listed Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan in its annual list of top 100 Global Thinkers for 2019.
The list features world leaders, activists, businessmen, and influencers from across the world.
While the full list is yet to be released by the top magazine, here’s what it said about the premier.
In 2018, Khan, a former cricket star, finally got the job he had long coveted; prime minister. His reward was an incredibly difficult-to-do list, starting with Pakistan’s looming fiscal and debt crisis.
It remains to be seen which category Imran Khan has been placed in.
The ruling party’s official Twitter handle shared the news over the microblogging platform.
The magazine has announced 10 categories, including top 10 of the last 10 years, thinkers and doers, 40 and under, activism and the arts, science & health, energy & climate, technology, defense & security, economics & business, readers’ choice and finally the top 10 who died in 2018.
