Sheikh Rasheed is Going to Live on a Train for a Month for a World Record

The Minister for Railways, Sheikh Rasheed, has announced that he wants to create a Guinness World Record by spending one whole month on a train.

He made this announcement on Friday while addressing a launch ceremony of a freight train in Karachi.

Sheikh Rasheed said that from February 1st to 28th; he will travel place to place in trains.

“From February 1st to February 28th, I will spend all my time on trains. I will, eat, sleep and stay there for one whole month to make a world record,” the minister vowed.

“Pakistan Railways is the second largest state institution after Pak Army, the minister observed adding that it has so much capability that “we could launch our own missile,” he quipped.

The minister said that like Prime Minister Imran Khan; he does not take off days on weekends so that his employees are inspired with his work and dedication.

He announced two more freight trains before March 23rd, and vowed to inaugurate a ‘VIP train’ on Pakistan Day.

The minister promised to turn PR into a profitable department and said that he will put his 100 percent effort with full dedication to make it happen.

The minister also announced to move freight trains’ head office to Karachi on first February.

Sheikh Rasheed said that for freight trains; he was moving his office to Karachi as well as offices of General Manager Railways and Chairman Railways.
