China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is deemed a project that will transform regional economies and will open new vistas for cooperation between the two countries.
A recent development in the project seems to be proving this. The Chinese government has decided to introduce extensive policies to cooperate with Pakistan on welfare projects.

All provinces of Pakistan will be surveyed in this regard.
The two countries have struck an agreement that includes installing water-filtering plants, a central labor support system, and clean healthcare initiatives along with other initiatives already covered under the CPEC.
In the first phase, the welfare projects will be initiated on the CPEC transit route from Gilgit to Mansehra. The second phase will entail development on the route from Mansehra to Islamabad. The plan is to continue these installations all the way to Gwadar.
