Regal Automobiles and DFSK Group of China are all set to launch their brand new 800cc hatchback in competition with Suzuki Mehran and the United Bravo.
The companies have inked an agreement in this regard, according to which, the new entry-level car will be introduced in the first half of the ongoing year with the brand name Prince Pearl REX7. The company is already selling LCV’s all over Pakistan under this brand name.
Insider reports confirmed that the cars have already arrived in Pakistan and are currently being tested on the roads.
Sources also said that Prince Pearl will come in two different variants – an automatic and manual version – with a top speed of around 120-130km/h.
The car will come with 40 hp at 5,500rpm and 60 Nm of torque. The length of the vehicle is expected to be 3610mm with a width of 1570mm and height of 1490mm. The wheelbase of the car is 2345mm.
The car is expected to fall within the 7-8 lac price range – a category Suzuki Mehran has been ruling for decades.
