German ambassador to Pakistan, Martin Kobler, was over the moon to learn that the French airline is resuming its operations in the country after eleven years.

Kobler made these remarks via his official Twitter handle and hoped that Germany’s largest airline, Deutsche Lufthansa, will be the next to make the move.

“Wow! @airfrance to coming back to #Pakistan after 11 years. Now my French friends can visit me easily. Most of my Pakistani friends say eyes on @lufthansa now!!!!!,” his tweet read.

The heartthrob German envoy was happy that his French friends will find it easier to visit him in Pakistan after the revival of Air France’s operations.

Earlier, on February 15, Federal Minister for Petroleum had made it public that the French flag carrier is planning to re-enter Pakistani airspace after more than a decade.

He said the conducive business environment in the country is attracting several foreign investors who had left the country due to a deteriorated law and order situation.

It should be mentioned here that British Airways is all set to re-start its operations in the country in June after a hiatus of ten years.
