Zong 4G and SCO Partner to Offer Telecom Services in FATA, AJK and GB

Zong 4G has entered into a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Special Communications Organization (SCO) for cooperation in the provision of telecommunication services in FATA, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJ&K) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB).

Telecommunication and mobile connectivity are vital for the sustainable socio-economic development of Pakistan. By bridging the inherent connectivity divide in Pakistan, Zong 4G is ensuring an inclusive society by providing fast and seamless connectivity for all.

“Zong 4G’s unprecedented reach and state-of-the-art services, as well as solutions, are driving demand for connectivity. Under this partnership, we are connecting people in remote areas through our unparalleled mobile telecommunication services. We are accelerating the mobile connectivity growth and deepening the engagement with customers while driving a widespread network and customer-centric strategy all over Pakistan,” said, Mr. Wang Hua, Chairman and CEO Zong 4G.

SCO has the honor of installing and operating the first ICT project of CPEC from Khunjerab to Rawalpindi.   • Lols… Zong is providing 4G connectivity unlawfully in AJK. Pakistani Govt. is not interested in selling the licenses to telecom operators in AJK anytime soon. SCO has been trying to stop these telecom operators from providing 4G services in AJK. Now they are joining hands with one of them. Seems an interesting buildup.
