Mid-rangers have seen major upgrades over the years. At one point, they used to be just a slightly better version of a budget phone. Now, they’re a far cry from their past.
What is a mid-range phone? Something that has mid-tier hardware? An average looking design?
That was true for phones a couple of years ago but not anymore.
Vivo’s V-series has been traditionally known as a mid-range series but the latest entry in the lineup seems to challenge that idea. The V15 Pro not only includes features normally reserved for flagships (pop-up camera, in-display fingerprint reader, triple cam setup) but it comes in a package that also looks pleasing to the eye.
Moreover, on the inside, it’s powered by a Snapdragon 675 processor which competes with flagship SoCs like the Snapdragon 835 from 2017.
Can you really call this phone a mid-ranger with all that?
